Is there live tattooing on site?
There sure is. We are bringing over 120 of the best artists from all over the USA and beyond.
How do I go about getting tattooed?
If there is a specific artist you’d like to collect work from you may want to contact them ahead of time to reserve an appointment. Social media is a good place to start. Check out our website for links to the artists’ contact info. Many of the artists will be welcoming walk ups during the fest in which you may browse portfolios and commission the artist of your choice to make a beautiful, custom tattoo for you.
Do I need to be tattooed to enjoy the festivities?
Absolutely not. In addition to a wonderful collective of vendors, there will be plenty of sights and sounds for everyone. There will be live entertainment including an annual pin up pageant, a one man band performance by Al Foul, and tattoo contests throughout the weekend. The schedule is also available on the website.
Can I bring the family?
Northern AZ Tattoo Fest is an all ages event, but you must be 18 and over to be tattooed. Children are welcome, but we ask that you please be respectful with the artist’s portfolios and table displays.
Can anyone enter the tattoo contests?
Yes!! You do not need to be an artist at the show or have work from an artist at the show to enter the contests. Anyone can enter a tattoo in a category that matches their tattoo. The only exception is best of day. That tattoo has to be done that day. There are 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners for every contest. Winning artists will receive prizes and a trophy.
